Owen Lamont
Dr. Owen Lamont is a lecturer at Harvard University's Department of Economics, is a Fellow at the Yale School of Management International Center for Finance, and is one of the world’s leading academic experts on capital markets, short selling, and behavioral finance. Previously at Yale, his titles included Professor of Finance and Senior Associate Dean for Faculty Affairs. He is also the Director of Research (Behavioral Strategies) at DKR Fusion Management, LP, a quantitative asset manager. Dr. Lamont received a PhD in economics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Dr. Lamont has testified as an expert witness on short selling before the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee, as well as the House Committee on Financial Services. He has previously taught at Princeton and the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business.
