Paul J. Brody
Director
Paul J. Brody is Chief Financial Officer of Interactive Brokers Group (IBG).
Mr. Brody began his career at IBG in 1987 as Treasurer for Timber Hill LLC, the Group's US market making unit. As the business grew internationally, he became Chief Financial Officer for both Timber Hill LLC and IBG. With responsibility for all financial and backoffice operations, Mr. Brody was a key contributor to the Group's expansion from a U.S.-based options market maker to a leading international financial services firm active in market making and electronic brokerage.
Prior to joining Timber Hill, Mr. Brody spent five years with Mocatta Metals Corporation, an international commodities trading firm.
Mr. Brody holds a B.A. degree in economics with distinction from Cornell University.
