In 2009 Cinnober, the financial technology provider for major financial exchanges across the globe, built and delivered the AQS front end and trade matching engine, or platform. Based on Cinnober’s well-known product suite, TRADExpress, the technology enables customers to route orders to the AQS securities lending marketplace and matches them to counterparties to borrow or lend securities. The AQS platform was carefully designed to meet the demands of a growing marketplace while retaining the reliability for which Cinnober technology has become known. And to ensure the AQS marketplace can meet the needs of the securities lending industry, the system is redundant and scalable.
